My Room at the Santa Fe Hotel in Puerto Escondido

My Lord, where do I begin? Song is just about the most important thing in my life . Sometimes I feel that If I somehow lost everything, if I would suffer the fate of Job...I would still have my songs, for in truth, song is 'prayer.' Even if someone came along and could manage to steal them from me, somehow I could always and would always be producing more.

In this section I will familiarize you with Songs from the Librettos of 'Starry Nights', and 3 other musicals which are still works in progress. Their titles are 'Sherezade' from 1001 Arabian Nights, The Crystal Night, and Michael. Also here I will connect you to the songs that will appear on my first CD. ( if I ever get around to finishing it...just kidding). The Album will be titled 'Zingaro'. It will include the songs that are related to a story I am working on called 'A Tale of Two Planets" The music is all finished. It is just a matter now of arranging it and getting the money together to get it recorded that way it deserves to be recorded.

You will see on the left above the links that will take you to each song's lyrics. If the links are not yet active, it is because I am sending copies of them to Washington for copyright. they will be ready for viewing in a week or so. As to the music? For now, that will be soon, but probably not before March of 05. If you want to help me make it sooner, just send me a big fat check to back the project. In the meantime though, if you love poetry, you will love all of my songs. They are all written in complete sincerity and with full heart. I promise you that the music is just as beautiful as the words, and it is just a matter of time before I get them to you complete.

Thanks for now.

Fred
